ANDERSON HALL

Engineering student’s view on Anderson Hall traffic.

Anderson Hall is a building located in the engineering complex at the University of Kentucky. In the morning this building is busy with students making their way to their classes by way of the hall, elevators, and stairs. In the afternoon around much the hallways seem to be a little less busy but there are plenty of engineering students using the common room on the first floor for studying and socializing. The evening is a lot more quiet due to the fact that most classes of the day are over.

There were very obvious spots of high, fast-moving traffic and there very obvious spots meant for relaxation and spending extend amounts of time in. The front door, the elevators, the main hall, and the common area had the most traffic on the first floor. Traffic seemed to grow slower the further students progressed down the main hallway. Many students would go to the stairwells and into various classrooms. The classrooms themselves had far less traffic than near the building’s entrance.
